FAQ — CII performance
What does margin mean?
Positive margin means attained CII is better (lower) than required for the year — you sit inside a better rating band.
Is this class-certified?
No. This centre is for planning and education. Use verified DCS/MRV data and class-approved workflows for statutory filings.
How do I get from C to B?
Typically a few percent fuel intensity cut via hull condition, weather routing, speed/trim and SEEMP Part III actions — use the improvement simulator above.
